Police clash with workers from shipyard outside defense ministry building in Athens.

Protesting shipyard workers this morning pushed their way into the grounds of Greece's Defense Ministry in Athens. According to a report posted in the Wall Street Journal online, riot police pushed back an angry mob estimated to be in excess of 100. Workers say they have not been paid in months. Paralyzed by a severe financial crisis since 2009, government austerity measures have led to numerous strikes and demonstrations. Local media reported arrests and injuries among the protesters.
