VibTimer-Plus 3Dv2 Shock and Vibration Recorder

IST introduced its new VibTimer-Plus 3D version 2 (VTP-3Dv2) low cost tri-axial shock, vibration g-rms, temperature and humidity recorder.

The reusable, battery powered instrument captures peak tri-axial shocks over user selected time bins along with tri-axial max g-rms values with date/time stamping of time bins. The unit also records max and min temperature and humidity atmospherics over the same time bins. The instrument features Bluetooth wireless data communications for setup and download, install time delay feature, six months of battery life for long deployments, 10,000 reading event memory and data export to standard excel spreadsheet format.

The unit measures 17g full scale and is designed for measuring shipping and handling environmental shock, impact and vibration hazards on larger palletized, crated or containerized shipments, truck and railcar shipments, as well as within actual C-containers.

The device can also be used to detect “hunting” and other anomalies on railcars.

The new low cost pricing is well under $1,000 with published quantity discounts available. The units are presently being shipped from shelf stock.
