Noble Denton Executive Appointments

Noble Denton, the premier provider of life cycle marine and offshore engineering services to the oil & gas, marine and renewables industries, announced two executive appointments within its American operations. The company appointed Michael Lowe as Global Business Team Group Director, Project Management Services, and Vernon Luning as President, Lowe Offshore International, US Project Management Services.

Michael Lowe will report to David Rowan, Managing Director, Project Management & Execution, with an initial remit to develop the company’s global field development project management capabilities. He furthers a 35-year career in domestic and international oil & gas project management and market development. Michael managed numerous upstream projects in the United States and internationally in Europe, New Zealand, Ecuador, Brazil, Thailand, China and Mexico. He is the founder of Lowe Offshore International, and had previously assumed the role of company’s President from 1981 till August 2007, when the company was acquired by Noble Denton.

Vernon Luning previously served as Senior Project Manager with Lowe Offshore International and brings more than 35 years of industry experience in offshore construction management. Vernon joined Lowe in 2002 and has led several field development projects in the Gulf of Mexico, most recently an $85m field development. 

In addition, Arthur Aragon, the present Group Director for Project Management Services will be appointed to Brazil to focus exclusively on opportunities for the company’s project services there.
