Pearson Yachts Completes Hull 100

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

May 21, 2007

First christened in September 2001, True North by Pearson Yachts completed hull number 100 on May 5th. Delivery is planned for July of this year, and marks a large milestone for Pearson. Originally designed as a dependable seaworthy craft with a functional layout, the 38 has stayed true to form. True North owners have had a part in the evolution of this boat, and while the majority of characteristics have remained the same since inception, new upgrades have become available every year. New this year, owners have the option of adding a flybridge or cockpit seating along the transom. Constructed by Pearson Composites, all True North hulls are built with SCRIMP resin infusion technology that results in products that are lighter and stronger than those made with conventional fiberglass. Available in 34, 38 and 47 feet, owners can choose from the Sport, Heritage or Classic models, all with different options, specs and equipment.
