Section of Ohio River Closed for Construction

A portion of the Ohio River has been closed by the U.S. Coast Guard due to construction on Lock and Dam 52, Wednesday.
 
The Ohio River is closed to all vessel traffic at Lock 52, mile marker 939, near Paducah, Ky.
 
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has begun raising the wickets on the dam.
