Electric Boat Gets $7M Sub Contract

Electric Boat has won a $7m contact with the Navy for nuclear submarine maintenance. The Navy is calling on Electric Boat Corp., to make repairs and upgrades through July 2008, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, also based in Groton, is the contractor. Electric Boat is a business unit of General Dynamics Corp., which is a defense contractor headquartered in Falls Church, Va. Source: MHT
