MAN B&W Order Tracking Goes Electronic

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

April 19, 2002

MAN B&W Diesel Service in Denmark has revamped its level of customer service with a free tracking system Extranet service enabling customers who are buying original MAN B&W Diesel spare parts, with the ability to track their orders from their desktop.

Those ordering the spare parts for the engine manufacturer's two- and four-stroke engines will benefit by being able to follow any spare part order from the moment it is shipped to the arrival at its destination. The system can track any order from a vessel, see the size and weight of any shipment, see the contents of all orders and change delivery addresses.

Joining the system is simple and can be done so by either of the links on MAN B&W's web site, or by contacting their company representative at MAN B&W's service in Copenhagen.

Developed by MAN B&W Diesel and TradeVision, the system is updated every five minutes to ensure that the latest information is always available.
