Augustine Joins Paragon Engineering

John Augustine has joined Paragon Engineering Services, Inc. of Houston as senior vice president to serve as one of the company's top executives, reporting to James R. Gattis, P.E., president of Paragon. Augustine brings to Paragon extensive global expertise in administering lump sum EPCI-engineering, procurement, construction and installation-projects. Augustine will administer Paragon's engineering and design capabilities. His responsibilities also include quality assurance and control issues, human resources and safety. "In administering these areas, we will keep an open-door policy at all times and empower and support our people, giving them the tools they need to succeed. "Externally, we will cultivate 'win-win' relationships with our subcontract partners on lump sum EPCI work," said Augustine. Augustine brings 28 years of onshore and offshore oil and gas industry experience to Paragon's management team. In his 10 years of project management and direction, he completed EPCM and EPCI projects for semi and jack-up drilling rigs, gas gathering and processing facilities, onshore and offshore field developments, FPSOs and pipelines. His experience includes projects in the Gulf of Mexico, the Beaufort Sea, the North Sea, the South China Sea, Indonesia, Kuwait and West Africa. Augustine comes to Paragon from ABB Lummus Global Inc. of Houston, where he served as vice president.
