BC Shipyard General Worker's Federation Calls for More Ships

The sinking of a BC Ferry has the BC Shipyard General Worker's Federation pushing for more ships to be built as soon as possible. News 1130 reported that Federation President George MacPherson says BC Ferries is behind by 10 years, and more replacement ships need to built to avoid any more catastrophes. According to the federation, building three more ferries would cost the company $428 million and would create thousands of jobs for people in BC. (Source: News1130)
