The RoRo, Hual Europe, rolled over yesterday and split into two parts as it caught fire in Asian waters. The Marine Disaster Prevention Center is currently working to extinguish fire and limit any further environmental damage. According to reports, it has already spilled 106,000 gallons of oil. On October 1, the Ro/Ro Hual Europe grounded in a typhoon on the island of Oshimain Japan. Unable to salvage the vessel and its cargo, it was declared a total loss. The P&I Club has entered into negotiations for a contract to remove the wreck.
