d'Amico shipping Receives RINA Integrated Approval

Italian shipping group d'Amico di Navigazione has been awarded RINA's integrated environmental and business standards certification.

The Italy-based classification society issued d'Amico with certifications of compliance to the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 standards, in addition to the ISM certification granted by RINA in 1997.

The certificate of compliance to the ISO 9001:2000 standard covers carriage of forest products, containers, solid bulk cargoes, liquid cargoes (oil and chemicals) with ships owned or chartered, and covers all the companies controlled by d'Amico. The environmental certification ISO 14001 applies to the oil tankers owned by the company.
