Jets Launches Small Vessel Toilet System

Norway–based company Jets Vacuum AS has recently launched a new system for small ferries, fishing boats, patrol boats , workboats and yachts. Jets Solo is a unique Vacuum on Demand system including all the advantages of a normal Jets Vacuum toilet system but in a scaled down version for easy and simplified installation. Vacuum on Demand means that Vacuum will first be created when a toilet is flushed. A Jets Vacuumarator will then generate Vacuum in the piping. After reaching a pre-set vacuum level the toilet valve will open and discharge. Effluent is macerated and pumped to a collecting tank or overboard in the same operation. The Vacuumarator can also be used for discharge of the collecting tank and can, in fact, also work as a highly efficient emergency bilge water pump. The system is lightweight and very compact and is delivered as an installation kit with easy plug in connections.
