IMTRA Debuts AcXent LED Linear Lighting System

 

IMTRA announced today the release of the AcXent LED Linear Lighting System.

AcXent is a linear LED solution that provides customized overhead and accent lighting in lengths from 4-inches to nearly 8 feet for power and sailboats. Ordered cut-to-length at the IMTRA facility, this revolutionary lighting system allows boat builders to illuminate interior living spaces in a completely new way, providing an architecturally pleasing appearance that blends perfectly with today’s contemporary style trends.

Mounting to a vessel’s stringers with a flange that hides behind overlapping headliners, AcXent LED lights enable designers and installers to offer complete customization to discerning boat owners. AcXent elevates the quality and effect of the light, improving the overall theme of the living space and is more harmonious with its surroundings. During daylight hours when the lights are turned ‘off’, there are no protruding parts resulting in a much cleaner looking interior living area.

AcXent’s cabin-filling light delivers 572 lumens per foot while only consuming just over 6W per foot. Available in both 24VDC or 120/230VAC systems, AcXent includes a UV-stable PMMA lens diffuser for perfectly blended and seamless illumination, and is housed in a cut-to-length anodized extruded aluminum housing ranging from 4 to 94 inches.

Installation is easy with fewer connections, and no special “boxes” or compartments are required, thus fewer holes to drill than conventional lighting. AcXent is compatible with various off-the shelf line voltage or low voltage digital DC dimmers and popular centralized control systems such as CZone™ and Crestron.
