In addition, the Senior Maritime Forum is being held from 2-5 December at the Kerry Hotel, Pudong, Shanghai.  The overall theme is "Green Technology, Transformation, Breakthrough" with sessions dedicated to "Shipbuilding," "Shipping and Ports," "China Summit on International Ocean Engineering Equipment" and "Marine Finance," as well as keynote speeches in the morning sessions.

Marintec China is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, PRC; the Ministry of Transport, PRC; and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government; and co-sponsored by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation; the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation; the China Association of National Shipbuilding Industry; and the Chinese Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers; organised and managed by UBM and the Shanghai Society of Naval Architects & Ocean Engineers (SSNAOE).
