New Fire Rescue Amphibious Craft for Shanghai
ASIS Boats just dispatched the last Fire Rescue Amphibious craft for the order placed by a Fire Department in Shanghai. Amongst the special specifications designed for their Amphibious crafts order were a wider tube with a diameter of 565 mm, an under-deck fuel and a Honda engine filled inside the console making it discrete and safer. A special drive-on trailer was also created especially for them. The Amphibious craft is a boat with wheels that has been developed to ease the boat launching and retraction process.
ASIS Delivers First 9.8m Amphibious RIB
Following the success of the ASIS Amphibious RIBs 7.1 and 6.1m, and in response to popular demand; ASIS just developed, tested and delivered its biggest amphibious RIB ever manufactured yet; A 9.8 meter Black Rigid Inflatable Amphibious boat. This boat is intended for private use, and will reach its owner in The United States in September. The Sealegs amphibious system available on the ASIS 9.8m RIB consists of motorized, retractable and steerable wheels, powering the boat with off-water capabilities The entire system is marinised and stays completely out of the water while underway.
ASIS's 7.5m RIBs Get Their Sea Legs
ASIS Boats announced the completion of the first of the new production series 7.5m Asis RIBs to be equipped with Sealegs System 60 amphibious technology. The 7.5m Asis Midi will include the two-wheel drive and automatic braking systems as well as power steering and high quality, marine-ready Sealegs components. Powered by a 150HP Evinrude E-Tec on the water, the craft reaches speeds of up to 39 knots. Featuring Hypalon Tubes, 180 litre fuel tank and self-draining deck, the Asis 7.5 Midi is also equipped with four straddle style seats designed for additional comfort and lateral stability.
