Gibdock Secures New ISO Certification

Gibdock has underlined its commitment to Occupational Health & Safety by becoming the first shipyard in the Mediterranean region, and one of the first companies worldwide, to achieve ISO 45001:2018 certification.An audit by LRQA completed on July 6 confirmed that the Gibraltar shipyard is fully compliant with the requirements of the new ISO standard, which was only published in March this year. Bahri Ship Management Complies with EU MRV

Bahri Ship Management, one of the six business units within transportation and logistics company Bahri, said it is in compliance with the submission of EU MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification) plans for the full fleet, ahead of the deadline. At present, Bahri Ship Management operates 39 VLCCs, 23 chemical tankers, 10 product tankers, fivebulk carriers and six ROCONs. Tundra MDS Earns ISO 28007-1:2015 Accreditation

Tundra Maritime Defense Services (MDS), the maritime division of Tundra Group, announced that it has been awarded full certification and accreditation for the recently issued ISO 28007-1:2015 (Guidelines for Private Maritime Security Companies), following an audit conducted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). ISO 28007-1:2015 gives established guidelines to private maritime security companies (PMSC) that supply privately contracted armed security personnel (PCASP) on board ships and the compliance requirements are much more stringent than those required by the ‘old’ ISO/PAS 28007.

Protection Vessels International Achieves LRQA Accreditation

Private maritime security services provider, Protection Vessels International (PVI), part of Protection Group International, informs that it has achieved ISO/PAS 28007 certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). Neptune announce that it has been certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) to ISO PAS 28007. NYK Line PCTC Vessels Verified Environmentally Correct

Japan's NYK Line say they have received certification from classification society Lloyd's Register (LR) for two of its PCTCs (pure car and truck carrier) for the disclosure of accurate numerical values based on proper methods of collecting environmental data, including the handling of onboard waste and the emission of greenhouse gases (CO2). The certification was provided by third-party certifier Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited (LRQA). The certification confirmed the accurate disclosure of data for about 20 environmental indicators composing the Clean Shipping Index (CSI).
