Tidewater Inks Fleet Management Software Deal with Tero Marine

Offshore service vessels owner Tidewater has signed a partnership agreement with Tero Marine to provide consultancy services and the fleetwide implementation of Tero Marine’s TM Master fleet management software suite.The move is part of Tidewater's wider initiative aiming to transform its fleet to global systems and processes, create efficiencies through automation, digitalization to connect and integrate onshore and offshore, and scalability to optimize fleet efficiency for new acquisitions.

OSM to Install TM Master on Fleet

OSM Selects Tero Marine’s TM Master

The OSM Maritime Group has chosen TM Master as the company’s preferred planned maintenance system. Tero Marine is now in the phase of implementing TM Master on 24 container vessels under the technical management of OSM. OSM has approximately 10,000 employees and 500 vessels included in its worldwide operations. Tero Marine Secures Boa Offshore Contract

Tero Marine informs it has secured a multimillion (NOK) contract for delivery of fleet management software to Norwegian shipping company Boa Offshore. The Bergen-based tech company will install its TM Master suite on 14 vessels. TM Master will thus be the preferred fleet management solution for most of the offshore vessels in the Boa fleet, among them the newly named construction vessel Boa Jarl. “We have been reviewing TM Master for a while now, and are impressed by the vast possibilities in this system,” said Helge Kvalvik, CEO in Boa Offshore.

Tero Marine Names Staubo VP of Sales

Erik Sarmento Staubo has been promoted to vice president of sales at Norwegian software company Tero Marine, assuming the role from February 1. Staubo has for the last 1.5 years filled the position of regional director in Tero Marine, based at the company’s Oslo office. He will now share his time between the offices in Bergen and Oslo, overseeing that the company meets its goals for the next years: Increase the market share not only in Norway, but also in other shipping markets in Northern Europe, Asia and the Americas. Staubo holds a MSc Degree in Business Economics, specializing in shipping.

Tero Marine to Install Software for RK Offshore

Norwegian maritime IT company Tero Marine has won a contract with RK Offshore Management Ltd. to install its TM Master software on 26 offshore vessels. The leasing contract covers 26 RK Offshore supply ships, with the possibility of extending this to an additional 15 vessels. The five-year agreement enables RK Offshore to lease software from Tero Marine for a contractually fixed annual sum. Implementation of the Tero Marine software on RK Offshore ships is already in progress, and expected to be completed by the end of September. “We aim to ensure the process is as error free as possible.

PT Logindo Vessels Get Tero Software

Norwegian maritime software house Tero Marine has won a contract with Indonesian offshore company PT Logindo to implement software on several of its vessels. The contract covers software implementation on three ships but with the possibility of being extended to include the Indonesian company’s entire fleet of 35 vessels. Tero Marine hopes the contract can help open several doors in the region. “Logindo is a fast growing company, and one of the biggest in offshore shipping in the region. Over a relatively short period of time, they have expanded their fleet with a large number of vessels and are an exciting company for us to work with,” explained Satish Kanakasabai, Technical Manager at the Tero Marine office in Singapore.

Tero Marine Acquires Close Competitor

Norwegian maritime software house Tero Marine AS has taken a controlling stake in rival company Teomaki AS. Norwegian maritime software house Tero Marine has acquired 95 percent of the shares in one of its closest competitors, Teomaki. Both companies develop IT control and management systems for offshore and maritime companies. Norwegian Software Improves Efficiency for Offshore Divers

Norwegian software company Tero Marine developed a new solution that they say will reduce workload and help improve safety for offshore divers. “It has enabled us to reduce the time we spend on reporting by 75 percent, increasing our ability to be more cost efficient,” said Allan Strachan of diving contractors Harkand ISS. Safety was one of the key drivers when Tero Marine and Harkand ISS joined forces to develop a new IT solution for dive services. TM Dive is the first solution of its kind available to everyone in the offshore sector. The solution automates legally required reporting of dive system maintenance and certification. Marketing Manager Inghild Arnesen of Tero Marine explained that efficiency and safety tend to go hand in hand in the offshore industry.
