Multiple Award Contract Awarded

Marine Hydraulics International, Norfolk, Va.; Alliance Technical Services, Norfolk, Va.; Davis Boat Works, Newport News, Va.; and Lyon Shipyard, Norfolk, Va., are each being awarded a maximum $47.6m firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract to furnish management, material support services, labor, supplies, and equipment to provide marine boatyard and industrial support, including specific modifications, upgrades, service life extension and repairs to non-commissioned boats, craft, lighterage and service craft, with associated systems that can be transported via roadway by trailer or on its bottom via waterway. Work will be performed in Hampton Roads, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2007. Contract funds in the amount of $511,000, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This multiple award contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with eight offers received. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, USN, Portsmouth, Va., is the contracting activity.
