Rugged Hammer UnionPressure Transmitter
Sensotec's Model 424 & 425 Hammer Union pressure transmitter are rugged sensors designed specifically for use with 1502 and 2202, two-in. wing unions in the demanding environment of drilling installations. Typical high-pressure applications include mud logging, cementing, fracturing, acidizing, nitrogen pumping, and other upstream well servicing applications.
The Model 425 is available in ranges from 0-5,000 to 15,000 psi. The Model 424 is available in ranges from 0-15,000 to 20,000 psi. Both the 425 and 424 deliver accuracy of 0.2% (BFSL). Standard output is 4-20 mA (2-wire) with a supply voltage of 9-28 VDC. Each unit is RFI / EMI protected. Operating temperature is from -45 to 200 degrees F.

Hamworthy KSE has developed an electrically-driven deepwell cargo pump for FPSO and FSO applications. The CKL 300 pump system provides a solution to demand for a simplified distributed pump system using an electric motor on the weather deck connecting to the pump units via a long drive shaft.
Hamworthy KSE's objective in designing the new pump has been to reduce initial investment and lifecycle costs, helping operators to boost their profitability. The CKL 300 pump relies on technology proven in the company's well-established CK and DL pump series to improve operational safety and reliability, increase efficiency, and reduce system complexity. The CKL 300 is designed with a capacity of 800 to 1000 scm/hr at a pressure of 150mlc. Further development of the CKL series will increase capacity to 2000 scm/hr.

Phenolic Model Grating: The deepwater offshore oil industry is becoming a huge market for fiberglass composite materials, namely grating and handrail systems. The offshore industry is already purchasing large quantities of composite deck gratings used for this purpose and the growth potential is rapidly increasing. Molded Phenolic Grating, with U.S. Coast Guard Level 2 and 3 certification to be used as decking on offshore platforms. Currently, only pultruded phenolic grating is being manufactured and used on offshore platforms. The benefits of molded grating are that it is in a one-piece construction, allowing circular or penetration tube cut-outs without losing the structural integrity of the grating (unlike pultruded grating). It has much greater impact resistance than pultruded grating, withstanding heavy weight items dropping on the grating without cracking. It also offers better corrosion resistance, as it is constructed in one piece, with no joints.
