Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

April 9, 2014

GAC informs that the Patache Terminal at Iquique in Chile was declared operative yesterday, April 8, by the Port Authority, one week after the earthquake that shook the area.

The EPI Terminal, however, remains out of service due to significant damage at the break water pier. It is estimated that repairs would take at least six months, providing that the technical report declared the feasibility of the repairs.

At the ITI Terminal, Berth No.3 partially operative, suitable for only RORO vessels. No mobile shore crane allowed on the wharf. Berth No.4 in good condition and operative, providing priority to full container vessels.

Copec, Petrobras, Patillos I, Patillos II, TMP and Collahuasi are fully operational.
