Arundo Analytics, a software company enabling advanced analytics in heavy industry, announced yesterday the Arundo Condition & Performance Monitoring application (CPM) for industrial equipment.
Arundo CPM is a configurable machine learning application built and delivered via the Arundo Enterprise platform. Arundo’s CPM software greatly enhances the ability of marine vessel owners, operators, and equipment vendors to increase revenue, reduce costs and mitigate risks, based on the latest advances in sensor technology, edge computing
, cloud software and machine learning.
Arundo works with major maritime services companies and fleet owners to provide advanced analytics and machine learning applications
even for remote or disconnected vessels. Its first customer in the sector was Carnival Maritime, and the company has since worked with a variety of freight and tug vessels as well as floating platforms.
“Arundo was founded to transform heavy industries with data-driven insights. Today we are streaming real-time insights from ocean-going vessels with flexible, easy-to-use software. Our CPM application is designed by and for industrial users in sectors such as maritime, and meets their actual needs with software and data science,” said Mogens L. Mathiesen, Arundo co-founder and VP Business Development.
Arundo’s CPM application incorporates several best-in-class technologies, including real-time sensor data streaming; configurable interfaces for optimal data, KPI and analysis visualization; condition-based alerts and anomaly detection for equipment.
Prior to this system, the industry had no cloud-based solution that integrated edge computing and advanced data science for streaming maritime analytics.
