Tactical & First Responder Training

Confident Captain/Ocean Pros announced the launch of their Tactical and First Responder Training programs.

These customized, hands-on programs are designed to help state, local, and federal agencies train their staff to become safe and effective First Response vessel operators. The courses are designed for all skill levels and are customizable in order to meet the varying demands of many different agencies.

The demand for skilled, well-trained first response and patrol boat operators has seen a steady increase in recent years. The Tactical and First Responder Training programs can also be customized to include US Coast Guard Captain’s License training and testing. Confident Captain/Ocean Pros’ programs are scalable in order to accommodate the needs of large and small agency’s demands and budgets.

Each course is taught by experienced training staff that comes from a number of first response agencies such as; US Coast Guard, state and federal law enforcement, fire departments, and private first response salvors. These will train on site.

Located in Newport Rhode Island and founded in 2003, Confident Captain/Ocean Pros’ mission is to provide high-end training and skills to mariners whose lives depend on them every day.
