Sperry Marine recently unveiled a new generation of flat-screen river radars that is designed to provide significant savings in size and weight for a small, crowded wheelhouse. The new MK6217/9 River Radar, which meets all Rhine River Radar specifications for European inland waterways, features a high-resolution color 18.1-in. (46 cm) TFT flat panel display. The flat-screen display can be table-, bulkhead-, deckhead- or console-mounted. The compact processor unit measures just 3.5 x 9.3 x 11.5 in.
