Knight & Carver Launches Custom Technologies

Knight & Carver YachtCenter has announced the formation of Custom Technologies. Operating as a stand-alone division of the company and serving its core customers’ desires for the latest and most advanced entertainment systems, Knight & Carver Custom Technologies will provide clients with a wide array of high-end systems.

These state-of-the-art systems will include ambient lighting and music, large-screen hi-definition TV screens, satellite radio, Internet, email, Dolby-sound cinema theaters, mood lighting in every room, security systems, temperature controls, as well as the finest in on-board and external communications and related amenities. Each system will be customized and fully integrated for the maximum ease, comfort and convenience of the yacht’s owner and guests. An effortless leisure lifestyle will be fully activated on demand with the push of a button or simply by voice, motion or automated controls.

Scott MacDonald and Scott “Scooter” Pulman will provide the innovative talent and experience necessary to support Custom Technologies, which will be based in Knight & Carver’s San Diego office but will provide services on a global basis. Both MacDonald and Pulman bring extensive experience in the luxury yacht industry. MacDonald has spent 10 years in the audio/visual information technology industry, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He has coordinated and installed sophisticated media systems at such prestigious new-yacht building firms as Palmer-Johnson, Trinity and Christensen. A native of Nova Scotia, he is an accomplished sailor and has spent his entire life around boats.
