According to the manufacturer, the BOM is the highest strength blind oversize fastener in the world, providing typical tensile strength up to 29,100 lbs. and shear strength up to 45,100 lbs. The unique push-and-pull design of the BOM allows for easy installation in all blind side applications, without the need for torqueing tools. Additionally, the large bearing area on both sides of the work piece ensures a permanently held, tamper-resistant joint.

BOM blind fasteners are often used as replacements for welding, due to their extremely high joint tightness, vibration resistance, and tamper resistance. Installation eliminating the need to hire certified welders or specially trained employees. The BOM is available in steel and ranges in size from 3/16” to 3/4” diameter.
