Jan De Nul Group Orders Workboats from Damen

Jan De Nul Group has placed an order with Damen for a total of three workboats. Two of them are of the Damen Fast Crew Supplier 1605 type designed for the transportation of 20 persons on board at speeds of 30 knots. The third vessel is the first of the newly developed Damen Stan Tug 1606, the follower of the 1605 design of which approximately 100 units were built over the years. All three vessels will be delivered in the first quarter of 2007 ex-Damen yards in the Far East. Jan De Nul Group will operate the vessels in the Dubai region.
