Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

July 19, 2010

MCS Kenny Inc., provider of engineering solutions for the subsea industry from optimizing subsea layouts to detailed design of risers, flowlines and umbilicals, has joined the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) Marine Partners initiative as a Marine Affiliate.

“There will be no assessment fee for the first fifty MCS Kenny Inc employees signing up for IMarEST professional membership; and we will be working closely with the Institute on a range of activities that will aid the professional development of members of our team. Indeed, before long we will be welcoming a visit to the MCS Kenny Inc office by the Education and Training Manager of IMarEST to provide an optional guidance service to our employees on training, mentor schemes, education and career development,” said Dr. Paul Jukes, President of MCS Kenny in Houston.

“We are delighted to forge closer relationships with MCS Kenny Inc, and look forward to working with Paul Jukes and his colleagues on this initiative,” said Dr. Marcus Jones, Chief Executive of IMarEST. “Dr Jukes has a close relationship with IMarEST. He was recently appointed to the office of vice president of the Institute, and will serve a three-year term while retaining his other positions at the Institute: president of the Americas Division and chairman for the US Gulf Coast Branch. Paul Jukes is also a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IMarEST. He is certainly a role model for his colleagues and we look forward to working with many of them in the coming months and years to help to develop their skills.”

Marine Partners is the corporate partnership programme of the IMarEST – the leading professional body for the global marine community. Customised corporate packages are created for each of the Partners who include companies, universities, research institutes and training colleges.
