U.S. Coatings Develops High Temp Products

U.S. Coatings has formulated two new high temperature silicone coatings specifically for use where elevated temperatures provide corrosion challenges. The HeatGrip 4200 is a high temperature silicone coating custom formulated to withstand temperatures up to 1200 degrees. HeatGrip 4200 is one of the highest solids high temperature coating on the market at 50 percent solids by volume and 3.6 VOC. Available in aluminum finish, it can be applied by conventional spray, airless spray, brush or with roller application equipment. The HeatGrip 4750 is an intermediate temperature silicone coating formulated to withstand temperatures up to 750 degrees. HeatGrip 4750 is 55 percent volumes solids and low 3.2 VOC. Its air dry finish is enhanced by two hour cure at 350 degrees. It is available in a black or aluminum finish and can be applied by conventional spray, airless spray, brush or with roller application equipment.
