Ship Sinks after Collision with Platform

According to reports, an investigation is underway after a cargo ship collided with a gas platform in the North Sea and then sank. The vessel, the Jork, struck the unmanned Viking Echo platform 40 miles north-east of Cromer, Norfolk. The 2,000-ton vessel, which had been carrying grain from Lübeck in Germany, sank yesterday.
