Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

April 8, 2003

The subscription-based legal research facility Westlaw has added a new database: Coast Guard Commandant Decisions on Appeal. The database consists of the agency's final rulings on matters such as suspension or revocation of merchant mariner licenses and goes back to 1948. For those with access to Westlaw, the database is found under U.S. Federal Materials; Other Administrative & Executive Materials; Administrative Materials Organized by Area of Practice; and then finally Maritime Law. Its address is FMRT-CGCDA. Source: HK Law
