Hamworthy PUMP-FLO Electronic Catalogs

PUMP-FLO Solutions, a provider of software solutions to the fluid handling industry, announced that Hamworthy, a high technology marine pump manufacturer, has chosen PUMP-FLO Solutions to create an electronic pump catalog for use in the PIPE-FLO system design software and PUMP-FLO selection software.

 

Under terms of the agreement, Hamworthy has chosen to make available their centrifugal pump line catalog to the PUMP-FLO and Engineered Software user-base through the Engineered Software website.
 

Hamworthy, headquartered in Poole (UK), serves not only the marine industry but also gas & oil and has branched out into general industrial as well. Hamworthy pump catalogs will soon be available free on the Engineered Software websites for download and use by the PIPE-FLO, Flow of Fluids and PUMP-FLO software users. "Many of the pump manufacturers' catalogs we offer are a direct result of a pump user or system designer's request. In this case, our mutual customer, Transocean, actually requested their catalog through support as they use the PIPE-FLO software. The manufacturers understand the opportunity afforded them by making their catalogs available to the system designers. Naturally these requests are taken seriously and we make them a priority whenever possible," said Michael Blondin, Chief Operating Officer for Engineered Software, Inc.
