Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

October 26, 2007

The National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) has issued a Request for Information soliciting industry interest in conducting research and development to reduce the cost of Naval ship construction and repair. The Navy is interested in reviewing and providing feedback on research ideas that industry is considering in anticipation of the next NSRP solicitation for proposals. Additionally, the NSRP Executive Director is offering to provide feedback on the technical and business merit of R&D topics under consideration. Response to this Request for Information is optional but strongly encouraged as it may help future proposers more accurately target areas of interest to Navy sponsors. Responses are due by November 8, 2007.
