Intermarine, LLC, a transporter of project, breakbulk and heavylift cargo, announced it has opened an office in Quito, Ecuador.

The new office will operate in partnership with agent Tradinter as part of the company’s Americas division to provide pricing, customer and documentation services to regional clients.
The office is positioned to service clients on the northern portion of Ecuador, including, but not limited to the provinces of: Pichincha, Esmeraldas, Imbabura, Carchi and Santo Domingo. Intermarine said the location was specifically established to align the service requirements and objectives of the West Coast South America line to those of the customers, resulting in better and quicker assistance, pricing and service.
“Our business has and always will be customer and cargo-centric,” said Juan Ignacio Lopez , Manager of WCSA service.  “We will continue to listen to our clients and operate our business based on their needs. By establishing this office we are providing our clients with a local, bilingual representative, dedicated to serving their needs.”
The office will be led by Sales Manager, Jenny Parreno. With an experience of 17 years in logistics and shipping business, Jenny´s experience includes being part of the team that started from scratch a logistics company affiliated to a well-known logistics group, actively operating in Ecuador. She will work to facilitate the increased efficiency of on-time information, provide quicker reaction times and deliver cost savings to clients, Intermarine said.
The opening of an office in Ecuador follows on Intermarine’s recent expansion into Turkey with a new Istanbul office earlier this year.
