Tideworks Technology, Inc., a premier provider of full-service terminal management and planning software solutions, today announced it has been selected by Sea Star Line, LLC (Sea Star) to implement its suite of terminal operating system (TOS) solutions at its Jacksonville, Fla. and San Juan, Puerto Rico terminals. Sea Star will leverage Tideworks’ complete turnkey solutions under a fully-hosted model. The utilization of a modern TOS represents a significant step in Sea Star’s efforts to update the terminals’ technology, streamline processes and boost customer service levels.

“Sea Star is investing heavily in modernizing its operations by investing in our terminal infrastructure with a continued key focus on safety,” stated Tim Nolan, president of Sea Star Line. “The application of a commercial terminal operating system under a full-service model will help bring Sea Star’s terminals up to date and poises us well for future growth."

These include a thorough business process analysis and site assessment at each of the terminals; integration services for the seamless exchange of critical data between the TOS and other business critical systems; database administration, regular back-ups, and complete system monitoring for peak performance and maximum uptime; and ongoing 24/7 technical support of the applications through Tideworks’ service center in Seattle, Wash.
