Carboline has named Priscila Nobre as the company’s inaugural Vice President of Supply Chain. St. Louis based coatings manufacturer Carboline announced it has named Juanjo Ardid as company president. Ardid succeeded Chris Tiernay, who led the company since late 2016, on June 24.Ardid had been employed by PPG since 1993 before joining Carboline. Coatings manufacturer Carboline has reopened its St. Louis research and development center after the facility recently received several upgrades. Attended by company President and COO Chris Tiernay, Brentwood City Mayor Chris Thornton and 125 St. Louis based employees, the grand reopening included a ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the newly updated facility and a company luncheon. “This grand reopening signifies Carboline’s commitment to innovation in the coatings industry,” Tiernay said. Andrews as Executive Vice President of Sales USA, effective December 5, 2016.   Andrews has been in the protective and industrial coatings industry for over 27 years and has a wealth of knowledge in the oil and gas, and mining segments. Andrews is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector and has been active in the Canadian protective coatings industry for 20 years.
