BP Delivers Carbon Offset LNG Cargo to CPC in Taiwan

Oil major BP said Monday that its BP Singapore branch had delivered its ‎first carbon offset liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo to CPC Corporation, Taiwan ‎‎(“CPC”), to the Yung An terminal in Taiwan in September 2021. Taiwan Navigation Orders Two New Tugs

PT. Graha Trisaka Industri has awarded tug design contracts to Robert Allan Ltd. for a RAmparts 3200-W and a TRAktor 3200-V. The tugs will be built and operated by Taiwan Navigation Co. Ltd. under a long-term charter contract for CPC Corporation, Taiwan.PT. Graha Trisaka Industri is an affiliate of PaxOcean Group, Singapore with the shipyard located in Batam, Indonesia. PaxOcean and Robert Allan Ltd. have worked together successfully on a number of projects including dual fuel tug of RAmparts 2800-DF design for PSA Marine, Singapore. Four other Robert Allan Ltd.

Taiwan Gets 1st Carbon Neutral LNG Shipment

Taiwan accepted its first carbon neutral shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG). State-owned CPC Corporation, a natural gas, and gasoline company in Taiwan announced receipt of LNG cargo from Shell.Nature-based carbon credits have been used to compensate the full carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions generated – from exploring for and producing the natural gas, to use by the final consumer.The cargo, which was delivered at the Yung-An LNG Receiving Terminal, will provide enough carbon neutral LNG to power nearly 150,000 homes for a year.Credits used for this deal are purchased from Shell’s global portfolio of nature-based projects, including the Katingan Peatland Restoration and Conservation Project in Indonesia…

TGES Wins Taiwan Terminal FEED Work

Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions (TGES) has been awarded a deal by Taiwan's CPC Corporation (CPC) to conduct the front end engineering design (FEED) for an expansion project of its LNG receiving terminal at Yung An.According to a statement, TGES will carry out the FEED work this year. INPEX Selects NAPA for LNG Carrier Fleet

TRIYARDS Bags $ 22 mln CPC Contracts

TRIYARDS Holdings Limited has secured contracts to build two oil barges worth NTD 716 million (equivalent to approximately about US$21.82m) from a new client, CPC Corporation, a Taiwan state-owned oil and gas company responsible for supplying energy to its domestic market. The new contract wins are for the construction of a pair of oil barges intended for coastal service and the supply of bunker fuel to vessels in Taiwan's harbour and coastal areas to be delivered in 2QFY18. At the 150th Annual Meeting of the Members of ABS, three industry leaders were elected to the ABS Council. Following the Annual Meeting, the ABS Council met and elected industry leaders to both its Marine and Offshore Technical Committees. Wärtsilä Receives 1st CWA Design Order

Wärtsilä, power system integrator, has signed a design and propulsion system order with Taiwan's Jong Shyn Shipbuilding for a product chemical tanker. The 6500 dwt vessel, due for delivery in 2011, is for CPC Corporation (CPC), a Taiwanese state-owned oil company. This is the first order through the Wärtsilä network for a design developed by Conan Wu Associates (CWA), a Wärtsilä Ship Design company, since it was acquired in September 2008.
