Globe Wireless Distributes Satlink FleetBroadband

Globe Wireless and Satlink announced the signing of a Marketing and Distribution Agreement which appoints Globe Wireless as a distributor of Satlink’s Inmarsat FleetBroadband 150 and 250 equipment. Globe Wireless has also made an initial substantial order of FleetBroadband units. The Marketing and Distribution Agreement allows Globe Wireless to promote, sell, install, service and support Satlink FleetBroadband equipment.  Globe Wireless will use its worldwide team employee technicians to install and service the Satlink equipment aboard customer ships.  (www.globewireless.com)

UltraStrip Selects Distributor in Texas and Louisiana for Patented Robotic System

UltraStrip Systems, Inc. announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Robotic Environmental Services, LLC (RES) of Baton Rouge, La. for the sale of UltraStrip’s patented robotic hydroblasting systems in Louisiana and Texas. This agreement represents UltraStrip’s entry into a new market and we are very excited to assist Robotic Environmental Services in its penetration of the above-ground storage tank coatings removal industry as well as the oil production facility and barge markets for coatings removal, according to Robert O. Brenntag and Genencor Sign Distribution Agreement

Brenntag announces the signing of a Pan-European distribution agreement with Genencor International, Palo Alto, Calif. Brenntag is established as distributor in most European countries for a variety of Genencor enzyme products. The contract is scheduled at least for 5 years. Genencor’s products are an extension of Brenntag’s product range and will strengthen the company’s position in various market sectors, such as water treatment, food, alcoholic beverages, leather and paper industries. ShipDecision Technology Distributed in India

K. Chidambaram and R.K. Mohanty of MC HR Management Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Albert R. Carbone of Stelvio Inc., Montreal Canada, announce an agreement which will see Stelvio’s ShipDecision software distributed in India. Karl Senner Inks Distribution Deal with Electronic Power Design

Karl Senner, LLC (KS) has reached a new strategic representation agreement with Electronic Power Design (EPD). Karl Senner, LLC now represents EPD in the United States marine and offshore Markets. The distribution agreement will allow KS to offer electrical automation, hybrid solutions and power management.

Lilaas Sets Service and Distribution Deals in Asia

Marine and offshore controls specialist Lilaas AS has reached its first direct service and distribution agreements in Asia, as part of its strategic plan to support increasing demand for its levers and joysticks. The company, which develops and manufactures all its products in the heart of Norway’s marine electronics industry, in Horten, has come to a service partnership and agency agreement with Z-Power Automation, Singapore, and a separate distribution deal with Shanghai EJH Group, Shanghai.

Navico Acquires Consilium Radar Business

Navico Holding AS, parent company to the Simrad brand and Consilium AB, has acquired Consilium’s radar business. As part of the transaction, Navico takes over all operations of the radar business in Italy, including research and development, product management and manufacturing. “The professional marine market is a strategic priority for our growth ambitions,” said Leif Ottosson, president & CEO of Navico Holding AS. Navico and Consilium have also entered into a sales and distribution agreement.

Vericor Power Systems Signs Agreement With MTU Friedrichshafen

Vericor Power Systems announced it has signed an agreement with MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH (MTU), whereby MTU will package and distribute Vericor’s TF™40 and TF™50 aeroderivative marine gas turbines. The Vericor/MTU-F distribution agreement will greatly supplement Vericor’s direct marketing activities for the TF series gas turbines to worldwide marine customers. The TF40 is rated at 4,000 shaft horsepower (shp)/2,983kilowatts (kW) and the TF50 provides 5,100 shp/3,803 kW. Radio Holland to Market Netwave VDR

Cut Netwave vdr-edt-3b_CC-3 Radio Holland Netherlands has formalized a co-operation with Netwave, manufacturer of a new generation of ultra compact Voyage Data Recorders, by signing an official distribution agreement. Radio Holland Netherlands has been appointed as Netwave’s agent for Sales and Service activities. Netwave's scalable VDR and (S)VDR architecture encompasses a minimal number of compact units, of which the interconnection is limited to a mere, single “WaveNet” cable. This feature enables ‘fast-track’ installation. France Telecom Signs BGAN Agreement with Inmarsat

On August 18, France Telecom Mobile Satellite Communications and Inmarsat signed the first distribution agreement for the new BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network) service. On its launch in H2 2005, BGAN will be the first mobile satellite communications solution to offer global coverage with data rates of up to 432 Kbps. Initially developed for land-based markets, maritime and aero versions of BGAN are currently planned for commercial launch in 2007. The service will be available via a portfolio of small, portable terminals, offering guaranteed throughputs at various speeds. Voice communications and data transfer via a 64 Kbps ISDN channel will also be possible.

Kuwait Orders Boats from Sealegs

According to Radio New Zealand, Sealegs International says it has shipped its first amphibious boat to Kuwait and has received orders for five more. It says two boats are scheduled to be shipped each month to Kuwait over the next three months, the group's fastest entry into a new country market. It says the six Kuwait orders represent approximately $500,000 in forward revenue. This week Sealegs announced a deal in Asia. The Kunjang Shipbuilding Co in South Korea signed a distribution agreement for the Korean market and placed an order for five boats. The original deal was worth $400,000, and Kunjang agreed to buy at least another five to 15 boats once the market is established. source: Radio New Zealand
