EB Awarded $29.8m Contract Modification

Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $29,817,354 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00024-96-C-2100) to accomplish the maintenance, repair, alterations, testing, and other work on USS Texas (SSN 775) during its scheduled Post Shakedown Availability (PSA). Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by February 2008.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Groton, Conn., is the contracting activity.
