October 3, 2003

Fidelio Cruise Software GmbH announced today the development of the Fidelio Cruise Materials Management System (FCMMS). FCMMS is a Windows based application designed to offer cruise ship operators a complete tool to manage the purchase and inventory control process (food-beverage-hotel equipment-shops-technical and more) following the logical purchasing process from time of purchase to the point of consumption. The result is optimized productivity while achieving financial targets. As expected from Fidelio Cruise, FCMMS will offer full integration with the Fidelio Cruise SMPS and Micros POS interface. In addition, a bi-application approach will be available - FCMMS can be installed shore side - the Headquarter Module or onboard if vessels are purchasing directly - the Shipboard Module. The feature rich application will offer unique tools such as multi-headquarter functionality, ship to shore consolidation, supplier management and automated bid processing, vendor rating system and evaluation, cruise planner and will operate in multi currencies. A preliminary product overview document is available on request. Our sales and development teams are currently visiting customers with the primary aim of ensuring all required functionality is included in the final product. Discussions are on-going regarding beta test site locations this winter followed by extensive testing in-house prior to the projected roll-out date of Q2 2004.
Trite but true, the path to decarbonization has no ‘silver bullet’ solution.
