Temporary Georgia Coast Security Zone

The U.S. Coast Guard is establishing temporary security zones and a temporary regulated navigation area (RNA) on the Savannah River and in St. Simons Sound and the Atlantic Ocean along portions of the Georgia coast. These actions are being taken in conjunction with the upcoming G-8 Summit to be held at Sea Island, Georgia. The temporary rules will be in effect June 5-11, 2004. Savannah River - 69 Fed. Reg. 29653 (May 25, 2004). St. Simons Sound and the Atlantic Ocean - 69 Fed. Reg. 29656 (HK Law).
