Trelleborg has launched its regular Barometer Report survey, designed to gather the latest insights and opinions from across the marine industry. Port owners, operators, contractors and consultants are invited to tell Trelleborg about their experience, and enter a free draw to win an iPad.

Last years’ report found infrastructure strained as ports struggled to keep up with new developments such as expanding container traffic, increasing vessel sizes and the rapid growth of emerging sectors, such as LNG.

For the first time, the survey will be split into two distinct sections, one for port owners and operators, and the other for contractors and consultants.

Richard Hepworth, President of Trelleborg’s marine systems operations, said, “By splitting the survey into two we want to explore potential differences in attitudes and opinions. For example, from port ownersand operators we want to know how their ports are performing and what issues are most heavily impacting the industry. While we will be asking contractors and consultants if their clients are keeping pace with rapid change, or have they started to fall behind.”

To take part in the survey and enter the prize draw to win an iPad, port owners, operators go to http://ow.ly/tiEmd and contractors and consultants go to http://ow.ly/tiG4o.
