The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certified the Tranter Mexico Operation quality assurance system in accordance with international guidelines.

ASME is an international developer of codes and standards associated with the art, science and practice of mechanical engineering. The Certificate of Authorization confirms that the Tranter Mexico Operation heat exchangers are built and serviced strictly in accordance with the provisions of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes. More specifically, the “U” stamp allows Tranter to build ASME heat exchangers and the “R” stamp allows the Tranter Mexico Operation to repair any ASME code heat exchangers in their facility.

For ASME certification, Tranter underwent exhaustive preparation and extensive planning to ensure that the guidelines of the facility were compliant with the ASME code.  After significant effort, the certification was granted. The certificate is valid for three years with a yearly unannounced review to inspect that the guidelines are compliant.
