Boh Brothers Construction Awarded Contract

Boh Brothers Construction Co. L.L.C., New Orleans, La., was awarded on Oct. 19, 2005, a $15,189,862 firm-fixed-price contract for east area plan emergency restoration and modifications to the citrus back levee floodwall. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by April 1, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Oct. 10, 2005, and four bids were received. The Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (W912P8-06-C-0016).
