Awarded ISO 14001 certification.

The owner run forwarding company Röhlig has been audited by SGS testing and certification services, and awarded the ISO 14001 environmental management certificate. With its 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle' programme, Röhlig has been continually improving its management systems, ensuring both eco-friendly and efficient processes. Throughout the company, Röhlig is working to save energy, water and paper resources. The key Green Logistics topics also include eco-friendly waste management. And with increasing numbers of companies aware of the significance of green business processes, Röhlig is also supporting its partners in developing eco-friendly procedures. Beside to Röhlig Holding, the ISO 14001 certification has also been awarded to the subsidiaries in Australia, France and the UK, to the Weiss-Röhlig joint ventures in Canada, Singapore and the US, as well as to the Röhlig blue-net IT subsidiary. As Chief Financial Officer Hans-Ludger Körner pointed out: "In Röhlig, taking a long-term, sustainable view is one essential element in our corporate philosophy. In that sense, meeting the ISO 14001 criteria for international environmental management is the logical consequence of our corporate values".
