National Infrastructure Protection Plan

The Department of Homeland Security issued a Notice stating that the draft National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) Base Plan is available for review. Copies of the NIPP Base Plan may be obtained by request. When a copy is provided, the requester will be advised how to submit comments. The plan is lengthy and depends heavily on private sector cooperation, which is understandable since major segments of the vital national infrastructure are in private ownership and operation.
