The Indian Register of Shipping (IRClass) is set to launch its newly-designed website and a mobile application, for modern, seamless user experience, today (28th September 2016).

The revamped website which is compatible on all devices, is visually more appealing, with improved content layout, but at the same time, maintaining the ‘IRClass’ brand experience. This allows richer content to be delivered to the IRClass’ audience, with faster response times.

The launch date of this Wednesday coincides with the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) World Maritime Day which is celebrated by the shipping industry around the world.

Using an advanced content management system, the website now has a greater flexibility in content management, and updates are 50% faster.

Webpages of the new site are mapped so there is ease of navigation, enhancing user experience. To cite a few examples:

* Member Login and Service Request forms are made fully responsive
* New application for types and works approval
* On every service page, users are prompted to reach IRClass via email
* Better integration with social media for users to connect with IRClass on various platforms

Mr. Vijay Arora, Joint Managing Director of IRClass, said today, “With the new website, IRClass is sharing more information than ever before. Our loyal customers, as well as any visitor to the site can now see IRClass, and what we can do in a convenient snapshot.

This website and mobile app means IRClass is at the cutting edge of digital technology. We understand that this is the future for our industry and indeed the whole world, and we aim to continue to be at the forefront of this change.”
