DNV to Supply Fleet Management Software for Ocean Infinity's Robotic Vessels
Ocean Infinity, a marine robotics and deep-sea data acquisition company, has tapped DNV for its ShipManager fleet management software for 17 new robotic ships and additional autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Ocean Infinity, which last year launched a program to build a fleet of unmanned surface robots - the Armada - will implement ShipManagerâs modules for planned maintenance, procurement, and business intelligence for its advanced fleet of uncrewed, low-emission vessels for capturing ocean data.
Stena RoRo Converts 2 Vessels to SERTICA
The roll on/roll off cargo and passenger services provider Stena RoRo has converted two vessels to SERTICA system, which enables RoRos to work with one supplier and one system - covering maintenance, procurement and safety.Stena RoRo initially signed up to SERTICA Maintenance and Procurement but decided to add the Safety Management System in SERTICA to get full value of the solution.From the day Stena Roro signed the SERTICA contract with Logimatic, they had 5 weeks to convert the existing data from two different systems to SERTICA before a scheduled inspection.Niklas Andersson, Manager Technical Operations at Stena RoRo says, âSERTICA was chosen to enable us to start operating the vessels from early March. Tarbit Upgrades Its Safety Management System
Swedish tanker company Tarbit has signed a contract with Logimatic to implement SERTICA on its entire fleet. Tarbit currently operates 14 tanker vessels and has ordered two new vessels, which brings them to a total fleet of 16 vessels in 2017. Tero Marine Secures Boa Offshore Contract
Tero Marine informs it has secured a multimillion (NOK) contract for delivery of fleet management software to Norwegian shipping company Boa Offshore. The Bergen-based tech company will install its TM Master suite on 14 vessels. TM Master will thus be the preferred fleet management solution for most of the offshore vessels in the Boa fleet, among them the newly named construction vessel Boa Jarl. âWe have been reviewing TM Master for a while now, and are impressed by the vast possibilities in this system,â said Helge Kvalvik, CEO in Boa Offshore.
