Intellian, Inmarsat Ink MOU to Develop Maritime Safety Terminal

New Intellian Antenna aims to Improve Live TV Reception on Vessels

Intellian Technologies announced its new t-Series and s-Series antennas to enhance the live television (TV) experience for those onboard maritime vessels.The new t-Series antennas, available from September onwards, will leverage improved technology to elevate the user and customer experience. Featuring an upgrade to Intellian’s trademarked WorldView Technology (WLNB), it is designed to enabel seamless television viewing onboard anywhere in the world as vessels travel between regional services.The four new models of the t-Series - t85N, t100N, t130N, t150N - range from 85cm up to 150cm.

Intellian Unveils Two New Terminals

Intellian Technologies and SES have unveiled two new user terminals approved for O3b mPOWER, the mP130 for fixed enterprise and the X130D PM for government vessels.This follows on from the multi-year agreement that was signed in October 2021, for Intellian to supply user terminals for SES's O3b mPOWER communications system. Intellian to Develop New US Navy Antennas

Intellian Technologies USA, Inc. said it has been awarded a contract to research, design and deliver antenna systems for the U.S. Navy.  Under the terms of the contract the new antenna system will provide enhanced capabilities and will allow the Navy to retire an older generation system, Intellian said. The product will be certified to MIL-STD 167-A & 461-F.

Intellian’s V65 Antenna Packs a Punch

Live network testing conducted by Marlink over the newest Intelsat EpicNG High Throughput Ku-band satellite demonstrates that the v65 system will enable users to achieve high throughput connectivity for vessels of all sizes. Intellian Technologies, a  provider of maritime satellite antenna systems has announced the launch of the GX100PM, a 1m GX terminal specially designed for use in Defense and Intelligence applications. The GX100PM is the 1m military grade maritime terminal, Type Approved for use on Inmarsat’s Global Xpress network. Intellian Announces IPO

Intellian Technologies announced an initial public offering of 1,450,000 common shares via the KOSDAQ, at an initial price of $17.27 per share. The initial public offering will result in roughly $26m in raised capital and a total market capitalization for the company of just below $124m. Shares will start trading on the KOSDAQ Market on October 18, 2016 under the ticker symbol “189300 KS Equity.” Founded in 2004, Intellian's company turnover in 2015 reached $54m, with operating profit reported as $4.7m. Sales in the first six months of 2016 amounted to $38.6m, generating an operating profit of $6.5m. Proceeds from this offering will facilitate the company’s continued innovation and delivery of scalable solutions to the wider mobility satellite communications sector.

Intellian to Debut Pair of 3-Axis TV Antennas

Intellian Technologies announced the upcoming release of two compact 33 inch (83 cm), 3-axis stabilized TV antennas. Shipping in March 2012, the Intellian t80 and t80W are specifically designed for use on yachts and commercial vessels requiring a compact antenna size with global satellite TV service reception. The Intellian t80 antennas use a fully stabilized 3-axis platform, as well as a fourth axis for LNB auto-skew control, ensuring seamless operation in all regions. Multiple HD receivers can be connected to the system as standard, providing a truly hands off global coverage depending on the regions visited. Inmarsat Selects Intellian for Maritime Antennas

Inmarsat Selects Intellian for Global Xpress Maritime Antennas. Inmarsat, a provider of global mobile satellite communications services, today announced the selection of Intellian Technologies for the production of marine stabilised antennas for its forthcoming Global Xpress(TM) (GX) service. Intellian, a leader in antenna systems for the maritime market, will design and manufacture a 60cm Ka-band GX antenna and a 1m Ku-band antenna that can be converted to Global Xpress when the service starts in 2013. Imtech Marine Inks VSAT and TVRO Contracts

Imtech Marine has recently signed Global Distribution and Service agreements for satellite communication (VSAT) and satellite TV (TVRO) products with three prominent manufacturers. Via its company Radio Holland, Imtech Marine already had (long) relationships with Intellian, Jotron and Thrane & Thrane, which are now extended for VSAT and TVRO. All Imtech Marine branches (80 around the world)  will supply, install, commission and service the  systems and arrange airtime. The agreements are in line with Imtech Marine’s multicard strategy, focussed on quality solutions. As a full service provider and system integrator Imtech Marine’strategy is focussed on life cycle management partnership and on increasing the value of the ship’s operations.

Intellian Antenna Systems Win Award

Intellian Technologies, marine satellite entertainment and communications provider, received a World Class Products award from the South Korean Government. Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company’s marine satellite tracking antenna systems were selected by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) during the recent certificate granting ceremony at the COEX InterContinental Hotel. MKE World Class Products represent over 10 percent of South Korea’s international market share, rank among the world’s Top-5 goods and have an international market scale of over $50m annually. “World class products and producers are anticipated to spearhead attaining this year’s export aim of $450m,” said Minister Yoon-ho.

Intellian Markets to Commercial & Large Vessels

Intellian Technologies New Center

Intellian Technologies, the world’s technological leader in marine satellite antennas, announced that it has begun construction on a 71,000 square foot R&D, manufacturing and shipping facility, the Intellian Center for Innovative Technologies. Scheduled for completion in February 2010, the new facility provides six R&D labs for increased product development and testing, as well as substantially increased production and shipping capabilities, to accommodate increased product demand and larger antenna solutions. Intellian Technologies has also increased the size of its North American R&D operations with the relocation of the company’s Chief Technology Officer to its Irvine California facility and an increase in staff to address the multiple carriers, and ku- and ka-band complexity.
