VIDEO: Hull of Giant Guyana-bound FPSO Enters Drydock in Singapore

Dutch FPSO leasing company SBM Offshore said Friday that the China-built hull of the FPSO ONE Guyana had entered drydock at Keppel Shipyard in Singapore. One Guyana is one of SBM Offshore's largest-ever FPSO Units and is being built for deployment at ExxonMobil-operated Stabroek Block offshore Guyana. "The FPSO ONE GUYANA project passing another major milestone: the vessel successfully entered drydock at the Keppel yard in Singapore. The project team will continue construction with the next steps being the installation of the mooring structures and riser balcony.

Greece's First FSRU Project Starts with Conversion at Keppel

Work has begun to develop Greece’s first Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) at the Keppel shipyard in Singapore, with the conversion of GasLog’s DNV classed LNGC Gaslog Chelsea, recently renamed Alexandroupoli.Following conversion, FSRU Alexandroupoli will serve as an offshore storage and regasification facility and will be part of the Alexandroupolis Independent Natural Gas System (INGS). The 155,000-cbm LNG carrier, recently reflagged to the Greek flag, is the first FSRU conversion under the Greek Flag for operation in the Aegean Sea.

Keppel to Deliver Guyana-bound 'Mega' FPSO to SBM Offshore in 1Q

Singapore's Keppel Offshore & Marine said Wednesday it was on track to deliver a "mega" floating production, storage, and offloading vessel (FPSO) to SBM Offshore in the first quarter of 2023. This is the third FPSO that Keppel Shipyard is delivering to SBM Offshore and will be chartered to the consortium of ExxonMobil, CNOOC, and Hess, to operate in the Stabroek Block, offshore Guyana. The vessel was named Prosperity FPSO by Guest of Honour,  Arya Ali, the First Lady of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana at a ceremony held Wednesday at Keppel Shipyard.

Maersk Supply Service Pens Major Contract for FPSO Work in Brazil

Danish offshore vessel owner Maersk Supply Service said Thursday it had signed an assignment agreement with TechnipFMC for work in Brazil.The scope covers the pre-installation of the mooring system and hook-up of the FPSO P-78. Petrobras Orders Giant $2.9B FPSO from Keppel

Brazilian oil company Petrobras said Monday it had ordered an FPSO from Keppel Shipyard, for deployment at the Búzios offshore oil field in Brazil.The FPSO, named P-80 will be the ninth unit to be installed in the field, and, according to Petrobras "one of the largest to operate in Brazil and one of the largest in the global oil and gas industry."The P-80, which will cost $2.9 billion, will have capacity to produce up to 225 thousand barrels of oil per day, process up to 12 million m3/day of gas, and store more than 1.6 million barrels.

Singapore's Keppel Offshore & Marine has, via its subsidiary Keppel Shipyard, secured contracts worth around S$250 million (~USD180,4 million) for the integration of two Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSO).Keppel Offshore & Marine, which is set to merge with Sembcorp Marine, said Friday that the FPSO integration contracts were awarded by repeat customers, BW Offshore, and SBM Offshore.The first contract is between Keppel Shipyard and BW Offshore to carry out the integration work on a newbuild FPSO.

Keppel Offshore & Marine Reels in $186M in New Contracts

Singapore's Keppel Offshore & Marine said Wednesday it had secured contracts worth around S$250 million (~$186 million) for the conversion of a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), integration of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, and the "jumboisation" of two Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD).For the first contract, Keppel Shipyard has received the Final Notice to Proceed (FNTP) from GAS-fifteen Ltd, a  GasLog Carriers subsidiary, for the conversion of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Carrier into an FSRU.

Petrobras Orders Seventh FPSO for Buzios Field

Brazilian oil company Petrobras has ordered an FPSO from Singapore's Keppel Shipyard, in what will be the seventh FPSO unit installed in the Búzios field, in the Santos Basin.The FPSO, to be named P-78, will have a processing capacity of 180 thousand barrels of oil per day and 7.2 million cubic meters of gas per day. Keppel Orders PG Flow Solutions for Gimmi FLNG

Singaporebased Keppel Shipyard has awarded Norwegian liquid handling and pump specialist PG Flow Solutions a contract to supply high flow seawater pumps to the Gimi FLNG that is being converted at the yard.PG Flow Solutions will deliver four large seawater pumps, each with a capacity of 5,500 cubic metres of water per hour.
