Sea1 Offshore, formerly Siem Offshore, has secured a new contract for its platform supply vessel (PSV) Sea1 Atlas.The contract for Sea1 Atlas PSV is in Brazil and has a duration of three years, along with six-month option at market terms.The start of operations is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.Sea1 Atlas is a 4,700 dwt, 87.9-meter-long STX PSV 4700 vessels built in 2013.The total firm contract backlog for Sea1 Offshore is now $743 million, and $599 million in options, the company said.

Norwegian vessel management and operations services provider Aurora Offshore, pat of Borealis Group, has welcomed the first of three high-end subsea vessels to the fleet as part of vessels transfer agreed with Sea1 Offshore.The transferred ship, Siem Stingray, is a state-of-the-art subsea vessel built in 2014 and has a 250t AHC Crane, 1300 m2 Deck Area and Accommodation for 110 People.The change of management has been completed between the vessel’s work scope, which is on long term contract with Subsea7.Earlier in January, Aurora Offshore welcomed Siem Pearl and Siem Challenger to itsfleet.

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Siem Offshore has secured a medium-term contract for two AHTS vessels.Siem Offshore said Tuesday that the contracts were for its 2010-built Siem Aquamarine and 2011-built Siem Amethyst AHTS vessels.The company did not say who the client was exactly, however, it did say that the vessels would work for "a major operator" in Australia.The contracts, of an undisclosed value, are expected to start in late 2023.According to the vessels' AIS, as found on MarineTraffic, the Siem Aquamarine left Singapore last Friday, and is en route to Dampier, Australia.The Siem Amethyst is currently in Malaysia.
